The Pub N Grub
Welcome to **The Pub N Grub**, an inviting neighborhood bar nestled at 2815 S Alma School Rd #101, Mesa, AZ. With a reputation for hearty meals and a vibrant atmosphere, this locale epitomizes the classic pub experience. As I stepped through the door, the warm ambiance and the promise of ice-cold beer on tap set the perfect stage for an unforgettable meal.
The essence of **The Pub N Grub** lies in its commitment to offering delicious food and drinks at reasonable prices. The menu features a tantalizing array of options, from crispy Beer Battered Onion Rings for just $6.00 to their famous homemade chili, available in both cup and bowl sizes (starting at $4.75). For health-conscious patrons, the Lemon Pepper Chicken Salad and the Santa Fe Chicken Salad make for delightful choices, each expertly crafted with fresh ingredients and bold flavors, priced at $8.00 and $8.50 respectively.
- Beer Battered Onion Rings: $6.00
- Potato Salad: $3.00
- Homemade Chili: Cup $4.75, Bowl $5.75

What stands out most about **The Pub N Grub** is the vibrant community it fosters. Regulars, such as Joshua Ronding, have shared their love for the authentic neighborhood vibe, mentioning it as a place where “nothing fancy” becomes a delightful advantage. The atmosphere is perfectly complemented by friendly staff who ensure that each visit feels like coming home, making it a cherished spot for Mesa locals.
Customers rave about the **affordability** of meals, which allows for a guilt-free indulgence in drinks—often a challenge in other dining establishments. As Shelby Wright noted, it’s a place where “eating and drinking out doesn’t break the bank,” and the added bonus of activities like pool games only enhances the experience.
The diversity in customer reviews speaks volumes about the bar's consistent quality, from delicious bar food to cold beer. Ubaldo Garcia highlighted the nostalgia of the establishment, recalling what Arizona felt like 25 years ago. It’s a joint where memories are made, and every visit feels special, much like the dishes served here.
In conclusion, **The Pub N Grub** is not just a bar; it’s a cornerstone of the Mesa community. It's where locals and travelers mingle over cold brews and hearty meals, creating a warm atmosphere filled with laughter and good times. Whether you're in the mood for a casual meal or a night out, this gem offers something for everyone. I highly recommend making it your next dining destination.

It's everything I want in a NEIGHBORHOOD PUB! BEEN REPN MESA AND HAVE THE BEST PRICES AND GREAT FOOD! NOTHING FANCY AND THAT'S AWESOME !!!! Dobson and other surrounding areas hang out! The only issue with the delicious food is the inconsistency in portion size. Thursday- Saturday the Combo app basket, fried pickles, etc.. are litterly half the size. Not Cool At All! 7 for 10 slices of fried pickles on Friday.... Loco! On Monday, same order full basket. Otherwise, we all love you guys!

Traveler here. Love this find! Was looking for a reasonably priced meal, cause drinking AND eating out can get expensive. This place exceeded all expectations for a reasonably priced fun night! The food was amazing and INSANELY affordable. Made me feel less guilty ordering more drinks cause I wasn’t spending an arm and a leg on both! They had pool tables and I played my own music on the easy to use boom box. What a great find! 10/10 WILL come here again!
